In fact they are talking about Platonic Light: the medium by which there is knowledge (as explained in <em>The Republic<\/em>), which isn&#8217;t meant for the likes of the audience of the Truth Industrial Complex. The Light that is meant for Joe Schmo (i.e. Mr Joseph Public) is expressed in reflections and shadows: in his being entirely &#8211; and note well the word ENTIRELY &#8211; deceived.
